Myofascial release
What is MFR?
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a non-invasive technique developed by John Barnes, PT, over a span of 50 years. By using a cross-hand release method, it allows the fascia (inter-connective tissue) to release, unwind, and let go of its conditioned state.
This release increases fluid, circulation, and space in areas of restricted tension. Once the fascia releases its grip, the transport systems are alleviated and can function at a more optimal level.
MFR is distinct from massage, where the person receiving this technique wears a bathing suit, or sports bra and shorts. No lotion or oils are used, while the hand positions are light and very relaxing.

Sound healing is an ancient method of balancing energy with the use of resonating tools.

Private Crystal Sound Bath

Tuning Fork Session
This offering is intended to recharge your energy using tuning forks, held directly over energy channels or chakras. Once struck against an activator, the tuning fork is then held in various positions and passed over the entire body to direct the frequencies. This is a wonderful offering on its own or as an add-on to other services like massage or organic facials for balancing and rejuvenation.

Energy work taps into the body’s natural energetic system. It requires the knowledge of chakras, energy channels, and how they influence systems in the physical body. Energy work is a powerful adjunct pre- or post- surgical preparation and rehabilitation. Pillows and blankets are provided to give you extra comfort and relaxation. The use of hand positions will take place on top of your clothing; no oils or lotions are used.

The first fifteen minutes of the session is a consultation to discuss intentions and protocols for this offering. The remainder time is used to connect with your bioenergetic field to clear old energies, infuse intentions and balance energies, and to tap into messages or insights that may benefit you. An assessment is written and emailed for you to peruse at your own leisure.
